Introducing the MAC Paint Pot Swatches: Ground Work and More!

As a makeup enthusiast, I'm always excited to share my latest finds with you all. In this article, we're going to take a closer look at three stunning shades from the MAC Paint Pot collection - Painterly, Groundwork, and Constructivist. These versatile eyeshadows are perfect for creating a natural base under your favorite shadow colors.

I originally set out to get Stormy Pink, but unfortunately, it was out of stock. So, I opted for Groundwork instead, which turned out to be an excellent choice. I wanted to curate a selection of shades that would work well together as a base, and these three paint pots fit the bill perfectly.

Painterly is a light, matte shade that's perfect for adding a touch of warmth to your look. Groundwork, on the other hand, is a dark neutral shade that provides a rich, earthy tone. Constructivist is another neutral matte shade that adds depth and dimension to your eye makeup.

As I often do, I used these paint pots as a base under my eyeshadow. I find that they provide a smooth, even surface for the shadows to adhere to, ensuring a long-lasting finish. The three shades work beautifully together, allowing me to create a natural, everyday look that's perfect for any occasion.

I'd argue that there's actually a bit of logic behind these choices. By selecting neutral shades, I was able to create a versatile palette that can be used in a variety of ways. Whether you're going for a natural, no-makeup makeup look or something more dramatic, these paint pots are sure to come in handy.

So, what did I get from MAC? In addition to the three paint pots, I also picked up a lipstick - but that's a story for another time! Sarie shot an event for MAC and was kind enough to grab some goodies for me.
